Carlos earned a Doctor of BusinessAdministration (DBA) inManagement (AACSB) in 2013, anMBA in Federal Taxation in 2007,and a BBA in Accounting in 1984.He became a Certified PublicAccountant (CPA) in 1986, receiveda reciprocal Florida license in 2015,and earned the Chartered GlobalManagement Accountant (CGMA)designation in 2013.

Rosa earned a Master ofBusiness Administration (MBA)in Accounting in 2006 and aBachelor of Science in IndustrialEngineering (BSIE) in 1992. Shehas worked in public accountingsince 1996.

Since May 2024, Nicole has been leading operations at CPA Tax AccountantLLC | CPA Carlos Guillermo Colon Bermudez LLC. She oversees dailyworkflows across both offices, helping our team deliver accurate, timely,and client-focused service.
With over 15 years in public accounting and an MBA in StrategicManagement and Leadership, Nicole brings deep expertise in tax, audit,and multistate compliance. Earlier in her career, she managed sales anduse tax reporting across all 50 U.S. states and territories for a publiclytraded company. Nicole is passionate about using technology to streamlineour processes and enhance the client experience.
Nicole Rivera Ortiz
General Manager
Rose manages the firm's internal accounting and financial operations forboth locations, including invoicing, collections, and accounts receivableoversight. She ensures financial accuracy, follows up on outstanding balances, supports smooth cash flow operations, and contributes toevaluating and improving internal processes and protocols to enhanceefficiency and organization across the firm.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (2021), a Master'sdegree in Biomedical Engineering (2022), and an MBA in Accounting(2024), combining strong technical problem-solving skills with advancedfinancial and accounting expertise.

Karla Marcellino is the Marketing Manager at CPA Tax Accountant LLC(FL) | CPA Carlos G. Colón Bermúdez LLC (PR). She earned her Bachelor ofScience in Accounting and Master of Accounting from the University ofFlorida (Go Gators!), with a concentration in Auditing. She has successfullypassed all four parts of the CPA Exam and is currently completing thecertification process to become a licensed Certified Public Accountant inboth Florida and Puerto Rico.
She has experience as a Tax Intern in the Asset Management departmentat KPMG LLP, where she developed a strong foundation in various tax-related skills while working collaboratively within team-basedenvironments.
